Describe what you do?

As a raw chef, for the past few years I’ve been helping people who are eager to improve their health and embrace a raw food approach to cooking and eating.  I do my best by teaching how to prepare delicious and nutritious raw vegan gourmet cuisine.

How did you get started with the raw foods lifestyle and how did you get to become a Certified Raw Food Chef?

Being introduced to a raw vegan lifestyle several years ago after attending a raw desserts class, 
I developed both a passion for supporting local organic farmers, and a palate for eating healthful foods prepared mainly from raw fruits, vegetables, seeds and nuts.

As a graduate of the inaugural class of professional chefs at the 105degrees Academy (now known as Matthew Kenney Academy), I also earned both my Associate Chef/Instructor certification and my Professional Culinary Arts Instructor Training at the Living Light Culinary Arts Institute.  A living foods nutritional certification from the Ann Wigmore Natural Health Institute along with hands-on experience previously gained from having followed a vegetarian, macrobiotic, and vegan lifestyle have allowed me to provide a well-rounded perspective and holistic approach in my teachings.

Who are your clients exactly?

I work with people just like you who want to achieve better health for yourself and your family, and also with those in the culinary industry who are really good at what they do; however, they have never been taught exactly how to prepare authentic raw vegan gourmet cuisine so they ALWAYS serve delicious and healthy meals. That said, the professions I work with run the whole gamut.

What happens if you haven’t yet worked with people like me?

I have to share with you that if I haven’t worked with people like you, you are not at a disadvantage, quite the contrary.  Here’s why:  What my clients have found exceedingly helpful is that I bring an extremely fresh perspective and give them resources.  Because of this, they are better equipped with the necessary skills for preparing a variety of nutritious dishes for daily breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and desserts.

How are you different from other “raw food chef-instructors?”

Although we will occasionally touch upon detoxing and cleansing, you have me as an expert Raw Food Chef-Instructor and consultant.  I ONLY work with those who are seriously committed to learning and investing in themselves.  What that means to you is that I am very focused and what you get with me is no-nonsense, undiluted expertise on what works best for you. I’ve received professional culinary training and have simply become an expert at this stuff, and that’s why my clients get–great results (and I throw in a healthy dose of compassion, humor and encouragement, which ALWAYS helps!).

What type of personality do you work best with and what is expected of me?

People who are absolutely excited and serious about the raw foods lifestyle and ending what I call “the 3:00 a.m. sweats”, meaning, not waking up in the middle of the night anymore saying, “How will I ever know what to prepare to stay raw, lose weight, stop my food cravings or [insert YOUR challenge]?”  My private instruction sessions are created for you to put systems in place immediately, which will eventually lead you to experiencing a major shift in your well-being within a few days (not months).

Being a high achieving go-getter myself, I’m known to work best with other high achieving go-getters who are super-ready to get going and just want to know exactly what steps to take.  No excuses anymore, just a very different way of thinking and full support while you achieve this incredibly exciting goal:  to learn how to prepare mouth-watering, healthy meals, consistently and in record time.

What type of person is this NOT going to work for?

Please know I’m very selective in who I work with, and I cherry-pick my clients, choosing to (gently) turn away people who aren’t suited for my training sessions and won’t get the results for which they would have signed up for. (It wouldn’t be fair to them.)  It’s been my experience that people who are NOT serious or committed to improving their health and well-being, do not trust the recommendations I give them.  If you fall within this category, call me when you’re ready, and we’ll get you started. (I’m in no rush and will be here when you need me.)

Another type of person I won’t work with (without exception) is the whiner or the chronic skeptic, as well as individuals who consistently make excuses. If you are one of these people, I gently and respectfully ask that you not call, and I hope you understand why. We’ll probably just not work well together, and I wouldn’t want you to waste your time or money. Is that fair?

What results can I expect?

Simply put, a sense of possibility and the motivation to create an extraordinary future.

Why should the raw foods lifestyle be important to me?

It’s perfectly reasonable and realistic to expect to see and feel noticeable changes physically in as little as 24 hours after eating raw foods.  Here are just a few more major benefits to eating this cuisine:

  • Feeling as if you’ve been tapped into something magical
  • Having the faith and self-respect/self-love to follow your own path, no matter what your friends, family, partner or colleagues say or do

Great! Did you know that one of the most prominent characteristics of successful people is that they take action?
