Doing the Math

Have you ever had to alter a recipe?  Perhaps expand or reduce the amount of ingredients used? Well, here’s a table with simple calculations that will guide you.


Kitchen Table of Measurements


3 teaspoons = 1 Tablespoon

16 tablespoons = 1 cup

8 ounces = 1 cup

16 ounces = 1 pound

4 cups = 1 quart

4 quarts = 1 gallon
